Call Centre Payment
Using DIBS email for handling DIBS email Call Centre payments is similar to DIBS Mail and Phone payment. The difference is that the customer only has to supply their e-mail address in the Call Centre option.
Advantages include:
- Customers do not have to supply sensitive card information to a business they might not know.
- As a business, you are able to execute payments with 3-D Secure, which effectively protects against third party abuse.
Process/flow
The email Call Centre process is as follows:
- The customer places an order and supplies their e-mail address.
- The shop manually/automatically creates an invoice in DIBS email.
- The invoice is sent to the customer.
- The customer pays by clicking on the link in the invoice.
- The customer receives a receipt of their payment from DIBS email.
- The shop receives a notification of the payment and the administration system is updated.
