The subscription package creates the possibility of managing recurring payments in a simple as well as a safe fashion. The subscription package is relevant when it is appropriate to debit money more than once on the same card.

 

Subscription payments work in the fashion whereby a card is registered with DIBS via a call to DIBS API and, if the card is not frozen or something similar, a unique ID is returned, which you store in your system for future payments. All sensitive information is stored at DIBS so that you do not have to think about the security aspects when it comes to storing information. There are two ways of executing subsequent payments:

 

• Via a simple call to DIBS API with the unique ID, which you received in the first stage, you then draw off the precise amount that you require, at exactly the juncture required.

• It is possible to connect in a rule to an ID to allow DIBS to take care of the next payments. A rule which you create for example can be 99 SEK per month. This allows DIBS to execute payments on the current cards at 99 SEK per month until such time that you remove the connection between the ID and the rule.

DIBS subscription payment normally requires a special contract with your acquirer. Ask your bank what is applicable in your case.
