10-07-06 : DIBS mergees with Swedish DebiTech

DIBS merged on friday the 7/7 with Swedish DebiTech AB, the leading Swedish Internet payment service provider, thereby creating the largest Scandinavian company within Internet payment services. The company will continue under the name of DIBS, but will now employ 45 employees and have offices in Copehagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Gothenburg.

With this merger we will be able to increrase our development pace - to the benifit of customers and partners. We also believe that we will be able to expand into new markets at a greater pace, thus servicing our cross-boarder customers.

In the short run the merger will not impact you as a DIBS customer, since your contact persons will remain the same, and the DIBS system will not be changed. We will however try to give you the possitive effects of our merger as soon as possible by introducing new products, and by setting up even more payment types to DIBS.
